For over 25 years, I have shared dance as a healing art — a path of embodiment, creative freedom, and spiritual connection. My work draws upon somatic movement therapy, bellydance therapy, breathwork, energy healing, core-pelvic restoration, ancient and ancestral mystical wisdom to help women reclaim their vitality, joy, and authentic expression.
I believe every woman holds a dancer spirit within her — and that movement is one of the most powerful ways we can awaken the wisdom of the body and the soul.
Bellydance is one of the oldest forms of embodied feminine expression — a dance of life force, sensuality, and healing. It is a powerful artform of movement with ancient roots in the Middle East and North Africa still practiced by all generations of people and enjoyed by the whole family and community.
In my work, I weave elements of bellydance therapy into my somatic-spiritual coaching, dance therapy sessions, and workshops — not as performance art or claiming to be a representative of the cultures from which it originated though always with respect and reverence, but as a powerful tool for restoring core-pelvic connection, fluidity, confidence, and joy.
Bellydance movement is also extremely healing for the psoas and pelvis, back, and core in general. As a dance therapist, I incorporate these healing movements with breathwork and stretches in addition to specialized massage to bring the hips, pelvis, and psoas back into health and alignment.
Whether you have never danced before or you have dance experience, this is an invitation to move from the inside out — to reclaim your body as a sacred vessel of life, wisdom, and creativity.

We gather in Sacred Circle to release stuck energy,
stiffness, tension, and trauma to replenish ourselves and allow natural life force and sensuality to flow. We can take that “full cup” back to our families, partners, and communities, and world.

I first felt called to share this dance as a healing art in the 1990s, after it profoundly supported my own journey of embodiment and spiritual awakening. Since then, it has become a central thread in my work with women who are reconnecting with their center —
physically, emotionally, and creatively.
Bellydance Therapy is woven into my 1:1 coaching program, Reclaim Your Creative Center, and also serves as a foundational movement language within my
Divine Feminine Dance Workshops.
No dance experience is required. This is about moving from the inside out — awakening the dancer spirit within you.
Bellydance Therapy:
A Sacred Dance of Feminine Healing, Joy, and Core Connection
Bellydance is an ancient and evolving artform rooted in the Middle East and North Africa, shaped over time by diverse cultures — including the Romani diaspora, whose expressive dance traditions helped influence its development across regions. Traditionally practiced in communal and celebratory settings, bellydance honors vitality, sensuality, and connection to the body.
While often misunderstood or stigmatized — both in the West and in some of its cultures of origin — bellydance remains a powerful, life-affirming expression of feminine embodiment and creative freedom.
In my work, I offer Bellydance Therapy not as performance training, but as a sacred somatic pathway for:

🌺 reconnecting with sensuality and self-expression
🌺 reclaiming body confidence and creative flow
Bellydance-inspired movement is especially therapeutic for the psoas, pelvis, back, and core — areas often impacted by trauma, tension, or disconnection. As a dance therapist, I weave these movements together with breathwork, somatic stretches, and gentle hands-on techniques to support:
